CDL B Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste according to federal, state, and local regulations
• Label containers and complete manifests, work orders, bills of lading, and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs)
• Classify, segregate, and inventory waste containers in storage and perform lab pack operations
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any spills, accidents, or leaks to supervisors immediately
• Maintain professional contact with customers during waste collection and delivery
• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, and moving items using hand trucks, drum dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Adhere to assigned routes via electronic routing systems

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid CDL Class B license
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of related industry experience
• Experience operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of DOT packaging requirements, OSHA regulations, and facility permitting
• Experience with Driver E-Logs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• 40hr Hazwoper Certificate
