CDL-B Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class B box truck and other company vehicles for local and regional deliveries
• Transport materials, equipment, and parts between company sites, vendors, and customers throughout the Bay Area
• Load, secure, and unload freight to ensure safe transport
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate mileage and delivery logs
• Coordinate with logistics, shipping/receiving, and inventory teams regarding schedules and priorities
• Support warehouse operations during downtime, including shipping/receiving, inventory counts, and staging parts
• Assist with packaging, palletizing, labeling, and organizing warehouse storage locations

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Familiarity with Bay Area roads, traffic patterns, and delivery locations
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified
• Experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or logistics operations
• Experience with ERP, inventory, or shipping systems
• Hazmat endorsement or experience transporting regulated materials
