CDL A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation between local Yankee Candle Company facilities
• Perform intra and interstate commercial truck driving
• Execute manual routine duties including material handling and transfer
• Operate power lift, hand trucks, and other related equipment
• Maintain high attention to detail regarding freight counting, verification, and documentation
• Act as a professional representative of the company with a positive and courteous manner

Requirements

• Valid State Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with general knowledge and air brake endorsements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience driving company-owned or corporate vehicles, including commercial trucks
• Documented good driving history and thorough knowledge of DOT regulations and MA State driving rules
• Ability to exert physical effort to lift weights of 60-100 lbs or more
• Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate commerce
• Ability to pass a post-offer CDL physical and DOT-mandated drug testing
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as operational needs require
