CDL A Route Driver

Responsibilities

• Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods to ensure timely service
• Load, secure, and unload cargo
• Maintain constant contact with the dispatcher to receive delivery instructions or schedule changes
• Maintain positive customer relations while on route
• Lift between 25-50lbs during the loading and unloading process
• Use handheld devices to track inventory and manage client relations

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CDL-A driving experience
• A satisfactory driving record
• Physical ability to lift 25-50lbs at a time
• Proficiency with handheld devices (smartphones or similar) or the ability to learn quickly
• Previous experience in client relations

Benefits

• Starting pay of $28/hr plus overtime opportunities
