CDL A Roll Off with Trailer Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Roll Off with Trailer to collect solid waste and recyclables on assigned routes
• Deliver collected materials to landfills, MRFs, or transfer stations
• Operate on-board hydraulic systems and ensure all loads are properly secured and tarped
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and maintain accurate daily truck reports
• Maintain route quality standards and communicate mechanical issues to supervisors immediately
• Comply with all federal, state, and company safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times
• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and the general public

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A)
• Ability to safely drive heavy vehicles and operate specialized equipment
• Knowledge of air brakes on tractor-trailers
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs manually
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive function criteria according to company standards
• High school diploma or GED is desired

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of satisfactory commercial vehicle driving experience
