CDL A OTR Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver windows and doors to dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer
• Safely assist in the loading and unloading of products at customer locations
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of windows and doors
• Drive truck to destinations in accordance with Federal regulations
• Maintain required records including driver logs, ELD, fuel purchases, and mileage
• Communicate with customers regarding packing lists, invoices, and material content

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Acceptable accident and moving violation Motor Vehicle Record
• 2 years of commercial truck driving experience
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and read maps/road signs
• Ability to follow instructions via on-board computer systems, phone, and email
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Zebra phones and Flex iPod or equivalent scanning devices
