CDL A Local Driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver industrial gases such as liquid nitrogen, oxygen, argon, CO2, and hydrogen to customer sites using tractor-trailer tankers
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Perform trailer coupling and uncoupling (drop and hook) operations
• Connect and disconnect transfer hoses, ensuring secure couplings and proper handling of cryogenic tanks and fittings
• Monitor pressure levels and temperature readings during delivery to ensure safe unloading
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation, logbooks, and records in compliance with DOT regulations
• Adhere to all safety protocols regarding the loading, unloading, and handling of hazardous and cryogenic gases

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years verifiable tanker trailer experience
• Minimum of 3 years tractor-trailer driving experience
• Ability to comply with heightened security and safety protocols for government and high-security facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with cryogenics
