CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer to deliver food products and supplies
• Manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, and dry goods
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers on assigned routes
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing between 40 and 100 pounds
• Manage delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival at customer locations

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Clean driving record that meets company insurability standards
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and complete reports
• Physical ability to perform "touch freight" duties, lifting up to 100 lbs repeatedly
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of customer delivery experience
• 6 months of experience using a hand cart or hand truck
• 6 months of experience in the Food and Beverage industry
• 2 years of consistent work history
