CDL-A Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport metal materials to and from designated locations
• Safely load and unload metal materials using appropriate equipment
• Secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Perform local runs and potential out-of-state runs
• Perform manual tarping when necessary
• Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and required documentation

Requirements

• Valid CDL A driver's license
• Clean MVR and Medical certificate
• Experience driving 18-speed manual transmission
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CDL-A Driver
• Experience with flatbed, roll-off, lugger, or open top trailers
• Physical ability to handle tarping 40 and 53yd bins
• Ability to perform loading and unloading activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with metal recycling processes and materials
