CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer to deliver various food products including meats, produce, and dry goods
• Manually unload and deliver products to customer locations using hand trucks or carts
• Build and maintain positive professional relationships with customers on assigned routes
• Manage records and documentation related to deliveries and vehicle operation
• Adhere to a set schedule, including a 4-day work week with one required overnight stay per week

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs, official inquiries, and reporting
• Physical ability to touch freight, including lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing 40-100 lbs repeatedly
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of customer delivery experience
• 6 months of experience using a hand cart or hand truck
• 6 months of experience in the Food and Beverage industry
• 2 years of consistent work history
