CDL A Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport products from the warehouse to various customers using a tractor-trailer
• Unload products by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions
• Deliver and place products in designated customer storage areas according to specifications and company standards
• Complete all required paperwork, including DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, and maintenance reports
• Maintain food safety protocols by monitoring vehicle temperatures and preventing cross-contamination
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers through excellent and courteous service

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• High school diploma, GED, or completion of a tractor-trailer driving school
• Ability to be insured to operate a vehicle
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs by hand
• Physical ability to push or pull up to 250 lbs using a 2-wheeled hand cart
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe lifting practices
