CDL A Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely transport food products from the warehouse to customer locations via tractor-trailer
• Unload products by hand or using hand carts down ramps, stairs, or docks in various weather conditions
• Ensure timely deliveries according to assigned routes and customer specifications
• Maintain accurate paperwork, including DOT logs, inspections, and vehicle maintenance reports
• Adhere to all food safety protocols, including temperature monitoring and preventing cross-contamination
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships through excellent service and communication
• Manage customer returns and damaged goods by transporting them back to the warehouse

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• High school diploma, GED, or completion of a tractor-trailer driving school
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing up to 50 lbs manually
• Ability to push/pull up to 350 lbs using a 2-wheeled hand cart
• Ability to work evening/overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
