CDL A and B Drivers

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport waste safely according to federal, state, and local regulations
• Label containers and complete manifests and work orders
• Pickup and drop off loaded and empty roll off boxes using a tractor trailer
• Perform End Dump, van trailer, and Tanker work as needed
• Conduct warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, and moving waste materials
• Operate heavy equipment such as hand trucks and forklifts
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report spills or accidents immediately
• Classify, segregate, and inventory waste containers for shipment
• Conduct lab pack operations by packing small chemical waste containers into larger ones

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License
• Hazmat Endorsement
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to drive a Manual Transmission
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check
• For CDL B: Tanker Endorsement

Preferred Qualifications

• Tanker and Airbrake Endorsements
• Strong knowledge of Environmental, Regulatory, and DOT rules
• Waste industry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC)
