CDL A and B Drivers

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport waste safely according to federal, state, and local regulations
• Label containers and complete manifests and work orders
• Perform roll off, end dump, van trailer, and tanker work as needed
• Conduct warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, and moving waste materials
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report safety violations or spills
• Maintain ongoing contact with customers regarding waste container collection and delivery
• Classify, segregate, and inventory waste containers for shipment
• Prepare hazardous waste manifests, bills of lading, and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs)

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License
• Hazmat Endorsement
• For CDL A: 2+ years of similar driving experience and ability to drive manual transmission
• For CDL B: Tanker Endorsement
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Tanker and Airbrake Endorsements
• Strong knowledge of Environmental, Regulatory, and DOT rules
• Experience in the waste industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC)
