CDC Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Communicate with application teams and customers to understand requirements and present hardware integration design solutions
• Define mechanical system design strategies and manage customer interfaces and negotiations
• Perform mechanical system requirement analysis and create system and sub-system design specifications
• Monitor work products to ensure on-time delivery for both internal and external stakeholders
• Create and maintain mechanical system design documentation, including 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs

Requirements

• Solid foundation in mechanical theory
• Knowledge of product development processes
• Proficiency in engineering drawing rules
• Strong understanding of engineering dimensioning and tolerancing systems (GD&T or GPS)
• Knowledge of automotive engineering, specifically regarding chassis and suspensions
