CCTV Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CCTV systems, including cameras, series positioning systems, and DVR/NVR equipment
• Perform circuit analysis, waveform calculations, and signal flow tracing to isolate malfunctions
• Utilize advanced test instruments such as oscilloscopes, frequency synthesizers, and distortion analyzers
• Install and maintain low-voltage cabling infrastructure to support surveillance and communication systems
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to ensure system compliance
• Prepare and maintain system documentation, including as-built drawings
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in electronics, communications, or a related technical field
• Proven expertise in CCTV systems, DVR/NVR solutions, and positioning systems
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex electronic and communication systems
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience with low-voltage cable installation and maintenance
• US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain necessary facility credentials
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions or remote environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Communications Technology, or a related discipline
• Experience with electronic material requisition systems
