CCTV Controller

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems continuously to detect and analyze suspicious activities or security breaches
• Respond promptly to security incidents and coordinate with security personnel and emergency responders
• Dispatch armed response vehicles, EMS, or SAPS when necessary
• Contact emergency providers and coordinate responses during incidents
• Conduct regular checks on surveillance equipment, alarm systems, and monitoring systems
• Maintain detailed incident logs, surveillance records, and daily activity reports
• Download footage required for the prosecution of perpetrators and complete required statements

Requirements

• Minimum PSIRA Grade A security qualification
• 2+ years of CCTV monitoring experience including dispatching
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Afrikaans and English
• Must reside in Somerset-West, Strand, or Stellenbosch area
• Must have own transport
• Ability to work night shifts (17h00 to 05h00)
• Must have sober habits

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Eocortex and Axis surveillance systems
