C&B Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update HRIS systems to ensure employee data is timely and accurate
• Prepare employment contracts, contract renewals, and manage onboarding/offboarding documentation
• Coordinate new staff orientation processes
• Manage employee employment status and prepare offer letters
• Handle offboarding processes including tax procedures and exit interviews
• Support requests for business letters such as visa letters and employment certificates
• Manage the centralized HR email inbox in collaboration with other HR team members
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives and other HR projects
• Prepare management reports, government surveys, and filings as required
• Ensure HR policies are regularly updated on the intranet portal
• Manage employee benefits and claims inquiries with external vendors
• Handle insurance enrollment and termination for new and departing staff
• Review and submit insurance renewal invoices for approval

Requirements

• Business level proficiency in Japanese and English
• Knowledge of Japanese Labor Standards Act and related labor laws
• Experience in HR or administration within a foreign-affiliated company
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in payroll administration and communication with payroll providers
• Experience managing defined contribution pension administration and audits
• Knowledge of group life insurance and accident insurance procedures
• Experience managing annual paid leave, health checkups, and stress checks
• Experience with attendance system monitoring and labor insurance procedures
