Catholic Outreach Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement programs that promote an understanding of the Catholic faith.
• Coordinate educational and spiritual development programs, including RCIA, retreats, pilgrimages, guest lectures, and rosary nights.
• Develop and implement student involvement in local service opportunities and explore alternative spring break service experiences.
• Work with Catholic Chaplains to schedule, coordinate, and market weekly Mass and other university events.
• Advise the Catholic Student Association student organization.
• Manage logistical arrangements for programs, such as reserving space and making A/V arrangements.
• Coordinate the assessment of Christian Campus Ministry initiatives and assist with annual impact reporting.
• Participate in university outreach events such as Orientation and Open House.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be a practicing Roman Catholic.
• Strong knowledge of Catholic social teaching and liturgical practices.
• Excellent communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing).
• High level of competence, judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including some nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Religious Studies or Theology.
• Experience in Campus Ministry or Youth Ministry.
• Experience coordinating mission trips or community service projects.
• Proficiency in desktop publishing, presentations, and database management.
