Cathodic Protection Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day corrosion control program for Site Pipeline Cathodic Protection to meet regulatory requirements.
• Perform routine monitoring and testing of Cathodic Protection (CP) assets.
• Manage vendors performing CP work to ensure quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with the Integrity Management Program (IMP) group and Turnaround (TA) Manager to align schedules and data collection.
• Serve as the CP and coatings focal point for new projects.
• Maintain and monitor the CP database and communicate asset status, such as rectifier readings.
• Assist in developing work scopes and cost estimates for CP-related expenses.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of relevant experience.
• Must possess a valid TWIC card or be eligible to obtain one.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Ability to work legally in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and wearing required safety equipment/respirators.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in cathodic protection.
• Prior knowledge of PCS software systems.
• NACE CP Level I certification.
