Cath Lab Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Support interventional cardiac procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment to ensure optimal imaging quality
• Provide expert radiographic support while working closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Adhere to radiation protection protocols, infection control policies, and quality assurance standards

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification
• Extensive experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment
• Proficiency in fluoroscopy and interventional radiographic techniques
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced clinical setting
