Cath Lab Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Support interventional cardiac procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment to ensure optimal imaging quality
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to radiation protection protocols
• Work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient procedures
• Adhere to infection control policies and quality assurance standards

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification
• Extensive experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment
• Proficiency in fluoroscopy and interventional radiographic techniques
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced clinical settings
