Cath Lab Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of imaging procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases
• Operate specialized imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images
• Support cardiologists during procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Radiographer
• Extensive experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, preferably at Band 7 level
• Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiology imaging procedures
• Expertise in using Cath Lab imaging equipment
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection and health and safety regulations
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy clinical environment
