Cath Lab Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of radiographic imaging within the cardiac catheterisation lab
• Operate imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
• Assist cardiologists and clinical staff during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Adhere to radiation protection protocols
• Support junior staff and participate in quality assurance activities

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
• Proven ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and IR(ME)R regulations
• Competence in using advanced imaging equipment and software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
