Cath Lab Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures within the catheterisation laboratory
• Prepare and position patients for procedures
• Operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure optimal image quality
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to safety protocols
• Participate in quality assurance activities

Requirements

• Degree in Radiography or equivalent
• HCPC registration
• Significant experience in cardiac catheterisation laboratory radiography
• Proficiency in operating advanced imaging equipment
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
