Cath Lab Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases
• Operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure high-quality image acquisition
• Maintain compliance with safety and clinical protocols
• Work closely with cardiologists and a multidisciplinary team to support accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout procedures

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Radiographer
• Significant experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, ideally at Band 6/7 level
• Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiology imaging procedures
• Expertise in the operation of Cath Lab imaging equipment
• Comprehensive understanding of radiation protection and safety regulations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
