Catering Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of a high-volume campus catering department
• Train and lead student employees, providing clear work direction and task delegation
• Act as the main point of contact at assigned events to ensure excellent customer service
• Set, serve, and clear events, including coffee breaks and buffet displays
• Prepare and assemble daily food items while maintaining high quality and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with catering leadership on staff scheduling and workflow organization
• Maintain a neat, clean work area and professional appearance appropriate for college events

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of catering or restaurant experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local deliveries
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a food service environment
