Catering Server

Responsibilities

• Perform front of house activities including room and table set up, breakdown, and cleanup
• Provide table, buffet, and beverage service for catered events
• Ensure function rooms are set and food service is ready before guest arrival
• Communicate effectively with guests, kitchen staff, and managers
• Identify and communicate potential allergens to guests
• Maintain care and upkeep of catering spaces and equipment
• Follow direction from the Dining Room Manager regarding service pace and timing

Requirements

• Ability to work quickly and carefully while carrying trays of plated food
• Ability to lift 10-20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Capacity for long periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional demeanor and adherence to grooming standards
