About the role
Responsibilities
- Seek new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling
- Support relationship development with key catering partner venues
- Respond to inquiries and conduct discovery calls to prepare impactful proposals
- Provide creative, on-theme, and on-budget event proposals
- Liaise with vendors including rentals, florals, DJs, and décor
- Communicate event details and client needs to culinary and operations teams
- Reconcile receipts and submit landmark fee reports post-event
- Follow up with clients to create opportunities for new bookings
- Contribute to bi-weekly sales forecasting and annual sales goals
- Perform administrative tasks including invoicing, accounting, and database maintenance
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience coordinating various event types
- Prior administrative experience with exposure to marketing and sales
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Legally eligible to work in Canada

- Understanding of event equipment, rentals, and staffing levels
