Catering Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the catering function within the Marina Centre
• Lead the team to deliver high-quality professional service
• Provide a varied menu and maintain Costa Coffee standards
• Ensure staff are well-trained and follow operational guidelines
• Develop the catering offer to meet community needs and seasonal trends
• Manage rotas, stock, and income targets

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in a catering role
• Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Experience in rota management and stock management
• Experience in customer service and problem solving
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and interpret reports/data
• Team-orientated approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building relationships with key suppliers
• Experience identifying and implementing staff training needs
• Interest in leisure, cultural services, and community-focused events
