About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist other chefs, cooks, and kitchen workers as needed
- Ensure high standards in sanitary kitchen procedures, food preparation, and food storage
- Prepare and cook items according to supervisor instructions, service menus, and production sheets
- Collaborate with BOH and FOH personnel to ensure food quality and quantity
- Maintain the care and upkeep of catering spaces and kitchen equipment
Requirements
- 1-2 years of cooking, kitchen, or restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to lift 10-20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and various times of day
- Punctuality and adherence to professional grooming standards
