About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain consultative sales relationships with new and existing clients through business development and product expertise.
- Conduct training events for both large groups and individuals, covering product knowledge, selling skills, and performance reporting.
- Partner with outside sales teams to provide technical product knowledge, including specifications, capacities, and pricing.
- Implement category initiatives to drive market share growth within diverse business markets.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for products and develop strong vendor relations.
- Collaborate with operations teams to assist in maintaining and controlling inventory levels.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Waterworks industry experience or specialized knowledge in tool and safety products preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to navigate multiple software systems.
- Proven ability to build PowerPoint presentations and lead both in-person and remote training sessions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for various audiences.
- High attention to detail regarding product specifications and changing pricing information.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
