Category Manager, Strategic Procurement, Packaging

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize supply networks and cost structures
• Manage vendor selection, relationships, price negotiations, and contract management
• Lead SKU ideation, onboarding, and innovation through new product development
• Leverage internal datasets and industry benchmarks to drive continuous improvement
• Manage cost savings initiatives to meet targeted budgets
• Proactively manage quality specifications and supplier performance

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain operations or strategic sourcing
• Experience in operations strategy focused management consulting is acceptable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets)
• Proven track record of leading large initiatives and sourcing events

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of specific packaging sourcing experience
• Undergraduate degree
