Category Manager, Raw-material

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of over 100 raw materials with an approximate spend of €20M
• Prepare and execute sourcing strategies and action plans based on market trends and internal customer needs
• Conduct key negotiations with potential suppliers to define contract conditions and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Perform market research to identify and analyze potential suppliers and monitor regulatory/financial information
• Manage purchasing contracts by ensuring supplier compliance and performance standards
• Propose and implement projects to optimize purchasing performance, including total cost of ownership and synergies
• Promote CSR/SD strategy deployment and ensure business continuity through formal contractualization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• At least 5 years of purchasing experience specifically in chemical raw materials
• Proficiency and experience using SAP
