Category Manager

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales revenue and profit for the Feeding, Appliances, Wellness, and Consumables categories
• Negotiate contracts, terms, promotions, and seasonal activities with vendors
• Manage stock planning and monitoring to maintain healthy inventory levels in collaboration with Logistics
• Develop category strategies and range planning to identify growth opportunities
• Analyze market trends, perform competitor analysis, and source/onboard new brands
• Manage the P&L for the assigned department
• Coordinate with marketing and tech teams for category merchandising and campaign execution
• Ensure pricing strategies are implemented and report on potential risks

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Ecommerce or Retail in roles such as Category Manager, Buyer, or Account Manager
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Data-driven and analytical mindset with the ability to report on category performance
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of the Feeding, Appliances, Wellness, or Consumables categories
• Experience working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
