About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category and assortment strategies for the meat category
- Analyze product flow and inventory development to optimize stock turnover
- Plan and execute negotiation tactics with suppliers to meet price and margin targets
- Negotiate purchase and campaign prices to ensure competitive market positioning
- Manage cooperation agreements and implement behavioral regulatory measures with suppliers
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure correct and timely product promotion
- Conduct customer visits, supplier visits, and attend trade fairs
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar category management or procurement role
- Strong commercial instinct and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with experience in business cases and economic decision-making
- Solid understanding of the value chain, including assortment, price, logistics, and sales
- Experience with KPI-driven work and project management
- Ability to work cross-functionally across different channels and customer types
