Category Manager - Meat

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category and assortment strategies for the meat category
• Analyze product flow and inventory development to optimize stock turnover
• Plan and execute negotiation tactics with suppliers to meet price and margin targets
• Negotiate purchase and campaign prices to ensure competitive market positioning
• Manage cooperation agreements and implement behavioral regulatory measures with suppliers
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure correct and timely product promotion
• Conduct customer visits, supplier visits, and attend trade fairs

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar category management or procurement role
• Strong commercial instinct and negotiation skills
• Analytical mindset with experience in business cases and economic decision-making
• Solid understanding of the value chain, including assortment, price, logistics, and sales
• Experience with KPI-driven work and project management
• Ability to work cross-functionally across different channels and customer types
