Category Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and update Category Strategies including demand and supply market analysis
• Develop and maintain Category and Sub-Category level Demand Plans
• Lead the development and execution of Sourcing Strategies using appropriate procurement channels
• Develop and apply Negotiation Strategies to extract best value
• Liaise with the Procurement Operations Team to monitor sourcing transactions
• Lead effective Supplier Relationship Management for strategic vendors
• Support the business in Contract Performance Management

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Category Management
• Experience in Procurement Strategic Sourcing (PSM) roles
• Experience managing teams and developing staff
• Degree level qualification preferred
• CIPS or other relevant professional certification is desirable
