About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the global electronics components category for the Cardiac Rhythm Management division
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Lead complex negotiation activities for supply contracts and purchasing agreements
- Monitor the quality and timeliness of materials and services supplied to the organization
- Execute highly complex or specialized projects, adapting traditional approaches to develop innovative solutions
- Manage large-scale, high-impact purchases that affect organizational products, processes, and budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in purchasing or commodity management
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a highly regulated environment
- Minimum 8 years of experience using purchasing or commodity management software
- Strong expertise in contract management and negotiating purchasing terms
- Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
- Ability to travel up to 20%, including international travel
