Category Manager - Electronics Components

Responsibilities

• Manage the global electronics components category for the Cardiac Rhythm Management division
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Lead complex negotiation activities for supply contracts and purchasing agreements
• Monitor the quality and timeliness of materials and services supplied to the organization
• Execute highly complex or specialized projects, adapting traditional approaches to develop innovative solutions
• Manage large-scale, high-impact purchases that affect organizational products, processes, and budgets

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in purchasing or commodity management
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a highly regulated environment
• Minimum 8 years of experience using purchasing or commodity management software
• Strong expertise in contract management and negotiating purchasing terms
• Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
• Ability to travel up to 20%, including international travel
