About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute category strategies for components and sub-contracting in the Americas region
  • Lead supplier price and contract negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and favorable conditions
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and achieve KPI targets related to cost management and supplier performance
  • Conduct new supplier assessments, approvals, onboarding, and training programs
  • Perform supplier audits to ensure compliance with ethical, operational, and sustainability standards
  • Mitigate supplier risks and manage incident resolution
  • Lead supplier development initiatives and organize regular business reviews to ensure continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain a strategic supplier panel to ensure long-term supply contingency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier management or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial context
  • Proven track record in supplier auditing, risk mitigation, and resolving supplier incidents
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive measurable cost-saving initiatives
  • Proficiency in project management and knowledge of ERP systems and digital procurement tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
