Category Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned product categories to optimize commercial performance and profitability.
• Select brand assortments and product presentations to meet market needs.
• Analyze market trends, sales behavior, and consumer consumption patterns.
• Negotiate prices, discounts, bonuses, and promotional activities with suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance and manage vendor relationships.
• Manage budgets, margin objectives, and inventory rotation.
• Coordinate the launch of new authorized products.
• Monitor inventory distribution and work to reduce DDI (Days of Inventory).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (completed and titled).
• 2 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, category management, or commercial management.
• Proven experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), preferably in tobacco, beverages, food, or confectionery.
• Strong negotiation skills with both national and international suppliers.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, margin management, and budget control.
• Experience in demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Ability to analyze sales data, market share, and KPIs.
