Category Manager-After Market

Responsibilities

• Influence and align internal and external stakeholders to shape sourcing strategies and drive successful execution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, finance, supply chain, and program teams.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives to deliver measurable financial impact.
• Drive strategic sourcing efforts for new product programs and business transfers, ensuring supplier readiness and continuity of supply.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to establish strong commercial terms and long-term partnerships.
• Own supplier performance management using data-driven reviews to improve quality, delivery, and cost.
• Partner with the Best Cost Country Sourcing team to strengthen the global supply base.
• Manage the workload of an assigned sourcing specialist where applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing experience with at least 1 year of lead experience.
• OR Master's degree and 3 years of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing experience with at least 1 year of lead experience.
• OR 8 years of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing experience with at least 1 year of lead experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Procurement background within the automotive or commercial vehicle industries.
• Experience with aftermarket parts or categories.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand technical concepts.
• Proven experience in sourcing components and leading complex negotiations.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
