David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable. Led by CEO Peter Rahal, Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR, David is working to become the leading consumer food brand focused on high-protein foods in North America and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Track and analyze category share dynamics and competitive intelligence
  • Build analytical frameworks for market intelligence and commercial decision making
  • Manage syndicated data relationships including SPINS and Numerator
  • Quantify promotional investment levels and analyze ROI of past promotional events
  • Develop pricing guardrails and tools to monitor trade spend effectiveness
  • Build category reviews and retailer selling stories to support distribution growth
  • Partner with Sales Finance on quarterly reforecasts and trade budgeting
  • Provide market-level context to validate internal volume and sales assumptions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail, Finance, Marketing, and Commercialization teams

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Category Management, Sales Analytics, Revenue Management, or Commercial Strategy in CPG
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hands-on experience with syndicated data platforms (SPINS, Nielsen, Circana, or Numerator)
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business recommendations
  • Strong communication skills for presenting to senior leadership and retail partners
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing customer presentations and category reviews
  • Experience working with Sales Finance on trade budgeting or forecasting
  • Passion for building an early-stage CPG brand
