Category Management Advisor - Associate

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates using industry-standard methodologies such as Should-Cost, TCO, and benchmarking.
• Perform financial analysis to assess spend trends, margins, supplier economics, and market movements.
• Lead cost engineering analyses and provide recommendations to enhance procurement strategies.
• Implement strategies for the consistent validation of realized savings across all Procurement Category Families.
• Manage the scope, timelines, and deliverables for multiple concurrent cross-functional projects.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, and various Business Lines.
• Identify and implement best practices to enhance cost estimation and savings validation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in costing, financial analysis, or similar analytical roles.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or SQL.
• Strong financial modeling and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and delivering cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience within the Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
