About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead global and regional sourcing strategies for MRO service categories, including contractor labor, facility services, logistics, and engineering.
- Act as the single point of accountability for up to 15 MRO subcategories to ensure consistent leverage of scale and spend.
- Manage total cost of ownership (TCO) through negotiation, demand management, and process improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the prime negotiator on pricing, terms, service, and other business requirements.
- Oversee supplier performance management through KPIs, scorecards, and quarterly business reviews.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, safety, HR, and legal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Support the development of digital procurement solutions, including contractor timekeeping and e-sourcing platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum of eight (8) years of professional work experience.
- At least four (4) years of experience in purchasing for global companies.
- Strong, hands-on procurement experience including sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Proficiency in eProcurement and P2P systems.
- Competency in financial analysis and cost/benefit analysis.
- Strong understanding of fixed and cost-plus labor rate structures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Professional of Supply Management (CPSM) certification.
- In-depth understanding of various contracting models.
