Category Lead - MRO

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic sourcing plans for MRO categories to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
• Manage multiple MRO product categories, including consumables, across U.S. and Mexico facilities.
• Develop, negotiate, and maintain supplier agreements to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key vendors across both regions.
• Partner with internal maintenance and operations teams to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
• Conduct spend analysis and market research to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of pricing, contracts, and item master data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing experience; OR
• Master's degree with no professional experience; OR
• At least 3 years of supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on an unrestricted basis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with suppliers across the U.S. and Mexico.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, including experience with spend analysis.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
