Category Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the commercial catalog to identify growth opportunities, inventory reduction needs, or new product incorporation based on consumer trends.
• Develop reports and dashboards with key performance indicators to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Visual Merchandising to ensure correct product display, focusing on increasing utility, optimizing inventory turnover, and reducing shrinkage.
• Perform sales estimations and calculate profit per square meter at points of sale.
• Assess the impact of changes in assortment, pricing, and promotions on company results.
• Coordinate the execution of commercial strategies with the Purchasing, Marketing, and Operations departments.
• Present category performance reports to management and propose actionable improvement plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Administration, Market Intelligence, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in category analysis, purchasing, business intelligence, or commercial areas.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate between different departments and work effectively in teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Tableau or PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
