Category Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage the raw materials and industrial components category within the Procurement & Supply Chain department
• Coordinate and develop cross-functional Category Management projects for strategic markets
• Monitor price trends and maintain internal strategic monitoring files
• Ensure supplier control and monitoring through KPIs and shared reports
• Map priority commercial opportunities to define strategies and formalize agreements
• Analyze market data and lead Category Management meetings to coordinate with Business Lines
• Collaborate with the Warranty Manager to define and share warranty conditions
• Engage in product/project development phases to strategically select suppliers, products, and services
• Manage vendor rating and implement necessary actions toward suppliers
• Oversee supplier qualification and integration into the AB supplier registry

Requirements

• Technical or economic degree
• 5 years of experience in a similar role within the metalworking/mechanical sector
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
• High level of initiative and organizational skills
• Proficiency in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with SAP is preferred
