Category Assistant Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist Category Managers in daily operational tasks, including data entry, report generation, and market research
• Support the development and execution of category strategies, promotions, and marketing campaigns
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure product availability, accurate information, and timely delivery
• Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback to recommend improvements
• Prepare presentations and summaries for internal stakeholders regarding category performance
• Maintain accurate product listings and pricing information on the JD.com platform
• Assist in resolving vendor and customer issues related to the product category

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, retail, or a related analytical role (internship experience is considered)
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships
• Proactive and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online retail dynamics
