Category Assistant Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist Category Managers with daily operational tasks, including data entry, report generation, and system updates
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and new opportunities
• Support the product lifecycle management process, including SKU creation and maintenance
• Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and supply chain teams to execute category initiatives
• Monitor KPIs and sales data to provide insights for category optimization
• Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders regarding performance and strategic recommendations
• Assist in managing vendor relationships, including communication, order tracking, and invoice processing
• Support promotional activities and campaigns to ensure timely execution and accurate product information

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, or a related industry
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Chinese or German is a significant advantage

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms
• Basic understanding of retail merchandising principles
• Previous internship experience in a corporate environment
