Category Analyst – IT Applications

About the Company

Telenor Procurement Company (TPC), based in Singapore, is a subsidiary of Telenor Group. TPC delivers Global Category Management as a service, taking responsibility for the end-to-end sourcing process and performance of global spend categories for the Telenor Group.

Responsibilities

• Perform price analysis and cost modelling
• Manage demand planning with regular follow-ups of function and budget owners
• Support RFQs and negotiations with global vendors
• Assist the team with strategy development and implementation

Requirements

• 3-5 years of work experience
• Bachelor or Master level education in economics, statistics, math, or programming/modelling
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and Pandas (Python)
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Ability to handle large amounts of data with precision

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic understanding of procurement or supply chain
• Knowledge of technology subjects such as Cloud services, End-user-compute products, or AI/ML
• Direct experience in IT applications or strategic sourcing
